Villa Vuossel is located on the shore of Lake Vuosselijärvi, on the east side of Ruka Fell, near the Ruka village shops and services. In winter it is easy to go cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, or snowmobiling, or  take an ice-fishing trip to a nearby lake. Alpine skiing slopes are only a short drive from the cottage. In summer you can find lots to do in the area: there is a lakeside sauna with a sandy beach, canoeing and rowing trips, fishing at the lake (there is 3 fishing licenses for our quests), and the famous Kuusamo rapids, hiking routes and wilderness. In late summer the woods surrounding Villa Vuossel are filled with wild berries and mushrooms, full of summer flavours, waiting to be picked.

Lakeside Cabin for Summer Accommodation or for Guests

Near the Villa, right by the lakeshore there is a lakeside cabin which can be separately rented mainly in summer. At other times it is rented tenants. See Photo Gallery

Additional Services

Our partners will provide you a wide selection of activities. In winter there is reindeer and husky drives, snowmobile safaris, ice-fishing, guided snowshoes and -skitrips, ice-karting, ice-climbing, ice-sauna or traditional smoke sauna and swimming in the icy lake, spend night in the iglu etc. In summer you can go rapidshooting, ATV-safaris, canoeing-, hiking-, fishing- and huntingtrips with guide and the traditional smoke sauna for instance.  Local hunting guides will help You with in all wish of aktivities. We have also caterer service. We are happy to help you with any arrangements and with booking the activities for You, if necessary. We can offer accomodations also for bigger group with partners, please ask offer.

We can also organize and rent most outlifts for hobby and aktivities for You, if needed.
